I am now three months post op (Oct 1, 2003 surgery date) and have lost 90 lbs. I am quite happy with the results, and only have minimal nausea when I do not chew my food well, or I eat too fast. The weight seems to be falling off, and the most problematic thing for me is keeping up with new clothes. Anyone who needs some encouragement, just call on me. [email protected] Thanks!

WAY TO GO JEFFREY, 90 lbs is GREAT, I can't wait until I start buying new clothes. I had my lap band surgery on October 20th and I am losing my weight much slower, but that is ok...atleast I am lossssssssssssssssing. Good luck and thanks for the encouragement. People like you give me hope!!!!

Congratulations Jeffrey 90 lbs is awesome. I go for my 3 month checkup on Wednesday. I am anxious to see what my weight loss will be. I have have the same problems with food, I have to slow it way down or I am as a dog. My clothes size has gone from 24-26 to 16-18. Unbelievable!!! I wish you all the success in your journey. Keep up the great job.

Wow what a lost!!!! I am 3 months today and I am 60 lbs. I have a hard time with protien drinks because I can not tolerate anything sweet. Makes me so sick to my tummy. So I struggle there. I eat pretty much anything else but very little because I do not want to eat at all. I do not see my weight lost at all. I have a extremly hard time eating or reading the difference in carbs what I can and can not. I feel so stupid at times. Congrats to all, I will get there one day I hope... Ann

GREAT! I have been doing great too, and love to hear from people that are doing good also. On the 22nd I will be 3 months also and have lost almost 90 lbs also. Keeping clothes that fit is a pain but I am hoping for little leveling out period, so I don't go broke trying to stay in clothes that fit.(HAHAHA).

I too had my surgery on 10/1 and to date I have lost 50 pounds! I am so excited and I LOVE the new clothes problem!! I have gone from a size 22-24 to a 16-18 and I can actually shop in store like the Gap and Old Navy!! for the first time in my life! 90 pounds is so GREAT! My husband also had the surgery 10/23 and has lost about 75 pounds. He has gone from a 52 waist to a 44 and from a 3XLT to an XLT. He was so excited about that when we went shopping this past weekend! I am so proud of him and all of us who have made the move to the losing side!
