Well everyone it is that time again. I thought I would kick off another Roll Call. I thought we could update each other monthly. Well I have now lost 39 pounds! I was on a lovely 4 1/2 week plateau but low and behold I have finally started to see some progress. I will be officially two months on Dec 24th. I still have food porblems but they are getting better. I still have to make a concious effort to get the water in...oh wait I gotta take a drink...swallow...but that has always been a prob with me (unless it was Pepsi or Coke!). I am getting pleanty of protein in per my doc. I got the results of bloodwork on the 3rd and am doing about adverage, little low in protein, low in iron, and dehydriated. All not too bad though. Alright everyone, lets hear your progress, struggles, and accomplishments! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all Tanya T

Tanya, Thanks for the roll call. I love to see where all of us October Alumni are down to. I am 2.5 months out and have been more than blessed. I weighed myself at my friends house on my birthday, 12/6 and I was at 235. My loss since surgery is 50lbs and 30lbs prior to surgery so a grand total of 80lbs. What an birthday and Christmas gift WLS has been for me. I still have to tell myself to slow down when I eat otherwise my pouch hurts big time. I exercise 5 days a week, 45 minutes on a pre-corp machine and 3.4 miles walking. Oh, let me not forget to mention I have been off all my diabetes medicine since the beginning of Dec. That has been the best goal of all. I wish you all the best on your weight loss journey. Have a Blessed Christmas and New Years.

Hello everyone. Glad to see you all are doing well. I have lost 37.5lbs since surgery. Still find myself eating too fast and paying for it, but doing a little bit better. Still having problems getting protein and water in. Haven't had any blood work done yet. Maybe get that done Monday of next week. Well everyone keep up the good work. And Happy Holidays.

Hi everyone.... I am almost 2 months out and down 31 pounds. While the weight loss is not as great as some of you I have to admit I am so happy with the inches loss. Can you believe 5 inches in my rear end.....yahooo!!! I have hit a plateau, like many and have not seen the scale move in a couple of weeks, so hopefully soon. I seem to eat more these days, but still only at 5-600 calories. What a change from pre-op! I use Fitday to track everything and it has been a blessing. The one bad thing is it looks like I do not dump on sugar. I will have to very careful . How is everyones hair so far. I am getting the protein in and taking biotin so hopefully the hair loss when it happens will not be too bad. Hope everyone has a happy holiday! Debbie

I my name is Sharon. My surgery was Oct 7th (what a wonderful day). I have lost 48 lbs. I am doing very well. At times I do have dumpning spells. I am unable to do the protein shakes. They are just plain nasty. I try to get my protein in by eating high protein. Good luck to you all and Merry Christmas.

It will be 2 months on the 22nd. It has been a rough road!! I had to have the scope last Thurs and doing a lot better now with eating although I'm sure I'm not getting enough to eat nor drink. I do one protein drink in the mornings (a scoop in a cup of hot choc) but I am never hungry and forget to eat. It might be because before Thurs I would puke and I hate doing that, so therefore would not eat so I wouldn't. I will be getting my blood work in Jan. The doctor will probably kick my flabby butt good. I have lost 50 lbs. Happy Holidays and a Happy and losing New Year!! Marilyn Lap RNY 362/312/less than 200 (loss 35 lbs pre surgery--total -85)

Hi! My surgery was on the 10/21/03, I'm down 47 pounds as of yesterday. I was hoping to get to 50 by the 21st, I don't think it's going to happen though. Although I have a ton of Christmas shopping to do today so maybe fighting the crowds will help those other 3 pounds come off!!! 285/238.

Hi Guys (actually gals mostly ) I did not relize this Oct board was active. I had surgery on Oct 16 which put me currently at 9 1/2 weeks and I am down 61 lbs from 335 to 274 with a goal of 200. I dont dump which sucks if you ask me and I am never hungary nor full (guess I haven't pushed it which is fine), I just eat when I am supposed to and try not to skip meals. I walk 3 miles a day at least 5 days a week and everthing is looking good. Merry Christmas and HNY!!!!
