well its been 2 weeks and so far so good. I feel really good. and i cannot believe how good i feel mentally about this whole thing. You know I would reccomend this to any one thinking about this. Even thought I never had no complications as of yet. I would do it all over again. I have not felt this good in a long time. And I cannot wait for the end results. My first week I lost 15 lbs and that was so nice to see the scale move down instead of up. Now i look foward to go to the doc and get on the scale. I just hope that every one else feels this good and i would in the future like to help people like me.

Congrats!!!! I'm so glad you're doing so well so soon. I had my surgery back on 10/22, and I've lost 22 lbs, myself, so I know how wonderful you're feeling! Isn't it great to be a loser, for a change?? You're in my prayers for a continued safe, weight-droppin' recovery! God Bless! Amy

I am in the beginning stages of having Lap surgery, I am very nervous and have been reading everyones replies concerning how each individual feels one-week post op, two-week post and so on! It is exciting to hear that you are doing so well. When I read about the women who are feeling so lousy it kind of makes me not want to do the surgery. I am 368lbs and am only 29-years old. Did you take an anti-depressant before having surgery, or are you on anything to help with the depression? I just want to do the right things so I can feel good after surgery as you are. Can you give me any advice before having the surgery?
