Surgery is over!!!

Well its over and i am so glad to be home. Surgery was oct. 21st and i came home oct. 26th. I don't know whether i am happy about it or not. Ask me again in 2 to 3 months and I will let you know.. Right now I hate how i have to eat. And I would like to know how to get all the water in..It impossible!!!!Well just thought i would let everyone know that i was alive!!! Best wishes to everyone. OMG I understand how you feel. I'm almost 3 weeks post op, and even though I can eat real food, I feel like such a failure because I can't figure out how to get enough protein, water and supplements in on the same day. I can get all of one, MAYBE two, but I haven't managed to get all three yet. All I can say is that apparently it will be hard for a few weeks...after about 6 weeks it gets easier? Enjoy the excuse to get as much sleep as possible!!! Sorry I'm not more positive, but it has helped me to know that I'm not crazy and that other folks feel as out of sorts as I do.

Congrats on making it through Tammy. I hope today is better for you... I too wonder how I'll get all the water in once I have it done. Keep your chin up! Jenn
