Home Stretch

Well we are inside of 4 days before my surgery and I keep waiting for the nervousness to kick in but it hasn't happened yet. Everything just feels right and I'm convinced the good lord has blessed me in every aspect of this adventure. The General (my wife) is out buying a variety of things that we've decided I should try ie. new fangled blender, Low Carb High Protein stuff. I found a receipe for egg drop soup on a post somewhere in here last night and it was great. Chicken broth (boiled and 1 egg mixed Really good Try it.. Don

Don, When the Lord bless your endeavors it is the best feeling of all. I am post op 21 days and He hasn't stopped blessing me. I will lift you up in prayer that the Lord will make your surgery go smooth and recovery go quickly. If I may offer one piece of advice. Walk, walk, walk, as soon as you feel up to it after surgery. This really sped up my recovery and I was able to come home on the 3rd day. I haven't stopped walking, I am up to 2 miles now. I wish you all the best. Blessings to you in your new life as a looser~
