Hi everyone, I have lurked on this site off and on now for years. Well my big day is Friday and so I guess I am beggining to feel like I might just belong here. I am not nervous about the surgery. I am ready (well except I have to finish my to-do list of chores before I go under!). Tanya

Hey Tanya, I am praying for your upcoming surgery on Friday. Keep your mind busy, so you don't worry or fret. I had my RNY Lap surgery on Wednesday, October 15th. Doing fine. I also had my gall bladder removed. You will do fine. After the surgery in recovery the nurses and staff are there ready to get you pain meds or whatever you need. Don't be afraid, just know you are doing the best for your health! You are in my prayers and thoughts. Barbara

the morning of my surgery I was not afraid at all, I kissed my mom and my sister. I told them that I love them and went into the surgery room. The surgeon asked me if I was ok and I said yes and then I said thank you Jesus, the next thing I was in the recovery room. I recall saying boy that was quick. Here are some scriptures for you to read and believe. My supervisor gave me this prayer--> MUST SEED FAITH "I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, move and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you. Matthew 17:20. My sister gave me this prayer-->LETS PRAY: Our father who's in heaven tomorrow morning is my day and everyday that I will have total faith in you. I pray that you will be with the surgeons and all that will have contact with me. I pray that you have your guardian angels surrounding me I am going with total confidence in you. I believe you assigned the best surgeons, doctors, nurses etc and over all you are doing the work and I am trusting you and my will, will be done..... In Jesus Name Halleluyah.. So all you have to do is have the faith with no doubts the Lord is going to bring you through it--> BE STRONG and of good courage; be not affraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. JoSHUA 1: 9 My surgery was October 22 2003 and I am feeling fine. Thank you Jesus. Tonya take card
