3 Weeks Postop
I had my surgery on Sept. 29 at the Bariatric Treatment Center in PA. Everything went great! I haven't had any problems. My surgery weight was 345lbs and am now down 24lbs!!! I was most concerned about pain before my surgery. I have to say it really wasn't that bad (and I'm a big baby!!). The soreness lasts for a little while, but it gets better every day. At 3 weeks, the soreness is almost gone. The hardest part is not being about to eat for almost 3 weeks. I started pureed food on Saturday. I get a little naseaus (sp?) now and then, but it goes away. It just feels good to be able to eat again.
Hi Dawn, I am 20 days post op, my date was Oct.2. I just started soft solids on Saturday. I had minced hard boiled egg, and cottage cheese. I had no problems with those items but tuna hurt me but I think it might have been the pickles I minced in the di**** is definetly a process eating food again. It is like we are babies experiencing our first foods. I have a least 2 protein shakes a day to keep up my energy. I noticed the end of last week I was feeling alittle weak. Keep up the good work.
