Oct. 16 is my date!!!!
I can't wait it's finally coming my new begining. I have so many emotions going on. My 7yr. old girl cried she said she was scared and I tried to explain that mommy was going to be so much more fun later and that we would be able to do lots of things that we haven't been able to do. My other 2 kids are 4 and 2 so they do not understand. I have just put my faith in God and I know that he will watch over me and my family. I am looking forward to having some hope again that I will be able to beat this and become more like a normal person. Well Good Luck to everyone else who is having surgery this month and in the future. I'll say a prayer for all of you.

I will be joining you on the 16th for RNY in NY. I have two younger children 4 &1 and I of course have not told them, they're too young to understand. I feel nervous at times about the possible complications but realize that all will be okay. I believe that God will watch over all of us! Good Luck with your journey and know you are not alone. Oct. 16th is my date too! I can relate to all the crazy emotions. I've been preparing for this for many months, but as the date approaches I have my moments of wondering whether I should be doing this! I will though, because I'm worth it! Just keep reminding yourself that you are worth it too! Also, my daughter is very concerned too. We sat down and made a list of all the things she and I will be able to do when she has her new "skinny" mom! Now she's excited too! Also, I officially "hired" her as my "exercise director" and now she feels like she has an important role in helping me get this weight off. We've been enjoying our walks together, which calms both of our nerves! I'll be praying for you, as we will have the same "birthday"!
