Can anyone tell me........

What the time frame was for any of you from the time you went into the hospital till the time you could be seen by loved ones after the surgery? My elder mother (you know mothers) wants to come and sit during this whole time and I just want to have some kind of idea. Also my husband doesn't want to have to sit with her for hours! I'm just kidding. But really if anyone has an idea of time frame that would be helpful! Thanks!

Hi Michelle ... i know here the surgery itself is 1-1 1/2hrs ... then you go to recovery for 2hrs .... after that you get moved up to your room and then anybody can come and visit after that .... I hope this was of some help to you ... and GOOD LUCK!! Lisa
