19 more days...and butterflies...and more butterflies

Hello Everyone who has had the surgery or is having the surgery or will have the surgery....I am excited, but nervous , too...Has anyone with cardiomyopathy or congestive heart failure had this surgery?.....Can you help me out and let me know how you did?....I would like to hear from anyone in this situation...I also have diabetes and the sleep apnea...The list goes on and on...I weigh about 350 now and am 5'7"....in a size 6x.....Been feeling strange about all of this....But I know it is a matter of life and death...Thank you for all of the postings that you all write...I read them Roxanne Bergendahl 10-20-03

Roxanne, I don't have the CHF but I do have COPD and I have been worried about that and the fact I still have a touch of Bronchitis. I think it is probably normal for us to be scared somewhat. If we aren't then we probably did not do our homework. But even though I'm scared, I'm also scared of not having it because I am the same size as you and my life is miserable the way it is now because of not being able to get around easily.
