Only 3 more weeks...

I was so happy to finally get a surgery date. It's 10/21/03. The end is finally in sight... The end of one part of my life and the beginning of a new one. That new start is what I am very nervous about. I pray that I will have the strength and fortitude necessary to make it through. I get a little more nervous the closer I get to the date.

Buffey, I also have a surgery date of 10/21, so we are in this together. Let's give each other strength, I know things will go well for the both of us. You will be in my thoughts and prayers, Kerry

Looks like there are 3 of us having this done right there together so maybe we can keep up with this together. My surgery date is October 22nd and like you I am nervous, but excited. I wish you the best of luck!

What a beautiful day it will be!!! My surgery date is on the 20th. and I know what you are going through. Take a picture of yourself NOW so next year this time you can say to yourself "I had doubts". For me, this is a tool that I am going to use to my advantage to improve the quanity and quality of my life. You are blessed to be one of the lucky ones that have been given this oppertunity to make a positive change in your life. USE IT WELL May your journey to the loosing side be eventful and painfree. Hi, Buffey! My date is October 22nd (seems popular around these parts lately *lol*), and I, too, am nervous about what's to come. But I'm also very excited and looking forward to my new life, free from the confines of the fat the presently envelopes me, holds me virtually prisoner in my own home, and keeps me from being the best mommy I can be to my precious 15-month-old daughter. I truly believe there is safety in numbers, and looking at this large group of us with dates on the 21st and 22nd, I believe that God will have his arms spread wide around all of us, and He will see us safely through the surgery and into our wonderful new beginnings. As I have seen many people post on this site (and as I've come to believe), "God brought you to it, He'll see you through it!".
