11 days till surgery day
I said a prayer for you.
I asked that God will anoint anyone *****ads this (and all on this site) from the top of their head to the soles of their feet, and that he would open up the gates of heaven and pour out a blessing upon you that there shall not be room enough to contain it.
I don't know your religion. But I will tell you that things happen for reasons we don't always understand. The darkest part of night is just before day. This situation will make you stronger. And you will be able to give someone advice in the future because you have gone through it. Just remember to thank God it is what is it. Don't compare yourself to examples of how much better things could be (anything). Rather yet compare yourself to examples of how much WORSE things could be. THAT WILL HELP YOU TO PRAISE GOD IN THE TIME OF CIR****TANCE!
He made "OLD DRY BRITTLE BONES LIVE AGAIN"!
Baby he can turn your situation, AND MY SITUATION around and work it out for the good of us. What looked like it was the worse thing that ever happened to you, can turn around to be the best thing that ever happened to you. The things that people do to harm you, can be turned around to make them bless you. Just keep your head up. There is more than what meets the eye!
Sometimes we want things and can't understand why we don't get them, or why we dont get them when we want them. But God can see in the future for us. I pray that you let him light your footsteps and you follow him. Let him be your guide. Let him order your steps of righteousness.
Amen!
Wow, I am so sorry to hear about what your friend did. I understand her fears, but you have to do what is right for you. She doesn't live your life. If you are like me, I haven't been really living my life either. I feel like I have been hiding from and missing out on so many things and if this surgery can give me energy and my health back, then I am at the point of that being the risk I am willing to take.
Does she understand how much you have read and researched and that this wasn't a decision on a whim? I hope you have done a lot of searching within yourself and know what you want and need to do and will stick to it. Just remember it is easy to only hear negative things when you aren't the one having it and looking into every nook and cranny for information.
My surgery date is Oct. 3. I will look forward to hearing how you are doing once I am home.
Best of luck to you. Stay strong. This is a very courageous step in taking your life back.
