October 8th

I have a date for October 8th. I have waited so long and now it is so close!! I am nervous and scared despite the certainty of knowing this is the best thing and the greatest chance I have ever had. I am loosing weight because my stomach stays upset, nerves! I am having surgery in Lubbck, Texas. Lap RNY

Congratulations Candy. I too am having surgery on October 8th. Mine will be done by Dr. Dabideen at Hurley Medical Center in Flint, Michigan. I am having the open rny. My boss had surgery on April 28th and so far she has dropped 6 dress sizes. I havn't asked her how much weight she has actually lost, but you can sure tell. I just e-mailed another member and told her that the 2 1/2 weeks of waiting that are left seem to be dragging on, but at the same time, I seem to be running out of time to complete the things that need to be done before I go in. Hi Candy! I also have October 8 as my surgery date. I am so psyched and ready. Tomorrow I go for my blood work and Tuesday I see the dietician and exercise guru. I feel so ready. Talk to you later. Louisa
