10/2/03 Lap-band surgery

Hi- My surgery is scheduled for 10/2/03 and I will be having the Lap-band procedure done. I am very excited and nervous at the same time. I am already looking at all of the wonderful clothes I will be able to wear. I haven't told many people about my plans for surgery for fear of there reaction and because I am a little ashamed. I don't want anyone to think doing this is a cop out or taking the easy road to weight loss. Wish me luck...Sheryl

Sheryl congrads on your surgery date mine is a open RNY on oct. 6th..Dont be ashamed of what you are doin you should be proud to be able to go through the surgery and recovery it takes a strong person to make a big change for the better in their lives..good luck..
