ONE MONTH/2DAYS-SCARED TO DEATH-ENCOURAGEMENT PLEASE

HELLO---TO ALL MY OCT BUDDIES ---THE BIG DAY IS GETTING CLOSER AND IM STILL SCARED.....ANY WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT WOULD BE MOST APPRECIATED......I KNOW IM IN GODS HANDS ---BUT STILL CANT HELP BUT BE FRIGHTENED

ok , first of all, im in the same boat . october 6th . and the jitters are to be expected this is a big step, some of us have never been a normal weight since childhood, and here we are willingly doing a major irreversable step . ok, now that being said, what excatly is scaring you / making you nervous? write it all down , and then , research your concerns, (about .com has some great articles ) this is the best possible course of action, dont forget its not all wine and roses, make sure to check into the unfortunate negatives too, i think we need to make definate plans and look completely at the whole surgery by addressing each worry then you can remove some of the anxiety and talk it out, here is a great forum, its a little more intimate than the main board , and since we are all in the same place it helps a lot IMHO and i think we need to start using it in that way as well as sharing dates hugs Beth
