I have a surgery date of October 2, 2003

Wow I was so surprised to see other October surgery dates. I had my option of an earlier date but October seems nice for me and my family. I live in Bakersfield, Ca and it's always hot during the summer. I thought the fall would be nice to recover before the Holidays start up. Good luck to all the Octobers out there. Rhonda

Hi Rhonda, Congratulations on your surgery date! You're absolutely right the fall will be the best time to have our surgery (I'm scheduled for October 23rd - yaaaaaa!). We're going to have to be doing alot of walking so it might as well be good weather. I'm in Virginia and the leaves are awesome at that time. Keep in touch we still have a long road ahead.

Hi WLS Sugery Sisters! I too am having my surgery October 1st. God works in mysterious ways, living in Florida with a 2 hour driving time to my doctor I agree the Fall (if Florida really has that Season) will be some what cooler for recovery.
