Not Soon Enough!

Hi, I received my surgery date June 12 and was told I would have to wait until October 13. I was shooting for sometime this summer, but the demand is so great that there just isn't enough operating room time. My surgeon, Dr. Monk, is trying to get more ER time. If he does, everyone will move up. I know I've waited this long and it feels as though I've waited all my life for this surgery, but, why do I have to wait 4 more months when I'm ready now!! Good luck to everyone else out there considering the surgery or scheduled. I've spoken with several people who have had it and they all agree it was the best thing they every did for themselves. Hang in there!!!
