If you haved lost 206 lbs keep hanging in there you can do it. I had my surgery on Oct 4, 2002 and I have only lost 70 lbs but I feel so much better. I would like to lose 30 or 40 more lbs but for about 6 months I have stalled. Bread does not make me sick neither does sweets and it scares me that I might gain my weight back.

I had my surgery on Oct 03. I am a year after you all. You are scaring me. Is this going to happen to me too? Do you exercise? I am not very complient right now with my eating habits although I don't eat much. It is mostly protien. I do have bites of bad stuff though. I had been exercising, but stopped last week when we had a family crisis. I'm starting back tomorrow. Karen

I had my surgery October 31, 2002. I have lost a total of 206 lbs. I am so excited but now I am stuck. I gain three and then lose it. Gain it then lose it. I still have about 55 more lbs. to go. I hope I can do it.

What do you mean you can't stop losing? What are you doing? Are you seeing a therapist? I was doing so well the first six months and now one year out I'm going back to old habits and have actually gained 14lbs of the 70lbs that I lost. I need some support, i cannot find anyone to share my struggle with? What type of surgery did you have? Any advice or words of encouragement? God bless and I am inspired by your success!

I lost 70lbs the first six months and held steady for the next three. Upon my first year anniversary I'd gained a few pounds. I started at 257lbs with a goal of 150lbs. I was 190lbs in March. Today I weigh 204lbs which means I've gained 14lbs. Has anyone else experienced this? I have to get back on track but I am very scared. I hope to reach goal by July 5th my birthday. Is a 54lb weight loss realistic in seven months?
