9 months of happiness !!

I had surgery on October 24, 2002 and 9 months later I have lost 100 lbs. I am almost on my goal and I am soooooo happy that I feel like floating, especially because today I just realized that I have lost 100 lbs. !!! This has been a major choice I made, and I do not regret it, not even for a minute. Since I had my surgery I have been doing so well that my brother and a old friend of mine decided to have it too. So, I am happy that this is working great for them too. By the way, I just moved to Naples, FL. I do not know anyone here yet, but I love to be in touch with people in the area. I am almost 30 year-old, but I love to have friends, no matter their age. Take care and have fun !!!

Congratulations Windy! I'm 10 months postop and down 124-1/2 pounds, smaller than I have ever been now that I'm in a 12. Feeling great. You'll be a big support for your brother and his friend. My roommate had the surgery 2 months ago and has lost 55 pounds. I enjoy being able to help her. Take care. Carol
