It a lot of emotions right now!!! I feel sooo excited, but at the same time...soooo scared!!!

Hi everyone!
I just got my date too, 9/25! It's been a quick process, since my insurance doesn't require a diet of any kind. I'm glad it's quick, don't get me wrong, but I do wonder if I'm as well prepared as I can be. I will get my pre-op diet info this coming Thursday and then meet with the surgeon on Friday, so I think it will all feel very real at that point!
I've made the difficult decision to not tell most of my family, at least for now. My husband knows, of course, and my sister, but I'm not comfortable telling my mother, who has her own battles with weight and is usually incapable of being happy for anyone else who us having success. I worry she would be a really negative voice in my life, and I don't see her all that often, so we'll see if I can pull it off.
I'm excited to keep in touch with everyone, and i'm new around here and would love to add a few friends. Best of luck to everyone!

Hi. I am Debbi and I have surgery in 3 weeks. I have 125 pounds to lose and am having RNY. I am from Central PA and a stay at home mom of 3 boys. I look forward to getting to know all of you and having your support.

Same date 9/11. I posted a few days ago that this is the beginning of a New Life for me.

My surgery is on Thursday...and I'm already working on my list for packing! I'm so excited and I'm afraid I'll need something and not have it. Since my hospital is over an hour away I can't let that happen! So excited to be starting this journey! Good luck, I'll be crossing my fingers and praying for you!
