September 10th

Hi Everyone.  My date is September 10th.  I am looking for some friends who are going though it the same time I am.  I am so excited and so nervous I cant sleep.  Every night I'm rolling and rolling back and forth.  My Husbands about to smack me! LOL  I sit here and keep thinking, how did I let myself get to this point, and is this going to finally work.  I have lost over 400 pounds in my life.  Can you beleive it!  400 pounds! Ive also gained about 450 pounds in my life...lol  I want to be healthy, I want to be happy, I want to move, and not be tired.  Most of all, I see my daughter and think when will she start to be ashamed of me.  I never want that to happen.  

So if anyone is interested, let me know.

Its the beginning of a new life for us all!!!!!!!!

 Hi.  My surgery is the same day and I'm also feeling high anxiety. 

One of the doctors at my clinic says "if you aren't at least a little nervous, something is wrong." 

We're changing our lives. it isn't like we're changing jobs....we're changing something that will affect every single thing we do every single day for the rest of our lives.  What a journey we're embarking on! 

Congrats on your Sept 10 date!  I'm on the 5th, Wednesday.  Feel free to add me as a friend.  I try to pop onto this board at least every other day, if not every day.  I can't wait to see what kinds of things we start to post "after"  I feel a little like a guinea pig since i'm so early in the month, but I'm glad to be able to share my (future) experiences with the rest of us on this board! 

We already have something major that binds us.  If we keep coming back, just imagine what our life ties will be like.  :)

I am also September 10th and I cannot sleep either! I feel like I have a million things to get done, and I do not feel like I am accomplishing anything hahah also, I am FULL of anxiety! To the point I have considered canceling but I know this is what I need, I need to be healthy for my kids, but I cannot help but be scared !

You all will do great!!!  I had my RNY done the 4th of Sept...all went good..I am now home healing..only pain is gas pain...gurggle gurggle gurggle..lol....but walking does help..make sure you relax after..and if you do have pain don't hesiatate to ask the nurse ..Good Luck everyone..plz add me if you'd like :)
