Sept surgeries
I had RNY on the 13th. All things considered, I am doing pretty well. Still some lingering aches and pains, but not too bad. My stamina is taking a bit to come back though. My relationship with food is kinda strange. I used to wake up in the mornings with a ravenous appetite--now it's more like I can take it or leave it.
I hope everyone out there is doing great! Send me a note if you'd like to chat!

I have had really low energy also but taking B-12 seems to be helping some. I don't have much hunger either. A few times I have thought I was hungry but then when I try to eat I really don't want anything and/or it doesn't taste as good as I thought it would -Guess that's a good thing though!
Goodluck to you-hope the weight comes off quickly as you would like.

Thanks, Kelly. One day at a time--eating is a new adventure with each meal But it's all good. I know what you mean about food not tasting as good as I thought it would. A friend who had the surgery explained that our whole appetite response mechanism is adjusting to the changes we've made. I think patience and going slow is the key
Best of luck to you as well, Kelly--I hope you're finding the changes that you're looking for!
