Thank goodness for CIGNA - I've been approved for removal of my LapBand and conversion to VSG and will be having surgery on 9/7.
Funny that this is my second WLS and both were in Sept! Band in 2005 to sleeve in 2010!

I got my surgery date and it is Sept 27th. Lets just say the waiting is killing me. Im am so impatient and was wondering if 1. anyone else have this date for surgery and 2. is the waiting is hard for you as it is me.

My date is September 20, 2010. Just 2 days before you. I'm also getting the RNY. I keep saying I'm so greatful that I'm finally gonna be on the road to a healthy life, but I've never been through any type of surgery before in my life, so now as the days get closer I am getting very, very nervous too.
Anyway, I can't wait for the positive changes too! I keep thinking, that maybe, I'll be off of my meds within just a few months & for that...I'm anxious! =)
