I feel ya. I'm runing waaay behind on a lot of pre-op and other projects and have now decided that as long as I get to the hospital, have at least a week's worth of food for post-op, have the meds and vits in place, then what will be, will be. I have three weeks off work. I'll be learning about all things WLS for many months to come after surgery.

I had wanted everything perfect before surgery (the 27th) --- my clothes sorted by size, my pantry re-organized, my entire house deep-cleaned. But, life happened and those things have been interrupted, pretty much. Still, I have the basics in place and have been making progress.

I think I might be relying on OH a lot to fill in any gaps in knowledge and share ideas if I encounter any problems post-op.

How about doing positive creative visualization or deep relaxation?  See your surgery & recovery going great. I've got a CD that provides guided imagery on this and am finding it helpful. I'm a week after you, on the 27th. Peace!

I'm on Monday, 9-20 as well...and the nervousness is kicking in over the excitement!  Any tips?
