Sept 10th 2010 Surgery date

Hi there I am gettin really excited about my up coming surgery,which is the tenth of September and I was wondering if anyone is having theirs the same day or around the same time. I am having mixed emotions and was wondering if anyone wanted to make a new friend and could offer some advice and support.

My date is September 20. I'm getting very anxious & now even a little scared the closer it gets! Mixed emotions here too. Most of all, just very happy that I'm finally gonna be healthy!

I would love to share encourageing words with you. I am also getting excited the closer I get to that day. I think the toughest part for me so far is the pre-surgery high protein diet. I understand not everyone has to do. My surgeon has required it for me. I know I can do it. I also wish you the best with your surgery and recovery.

My RNY surgery is 9/14 and I have had mixed emotions all along.  I think that when I meet with the surgeon 8/26 to ask the questions I have been wondering about surgery that I will feel much better.  The closer it gets I am anxious.  Happy to start a new life and get to a healthy weight but apprehensive about the bodily changes that will take place during surgery.  I am sure that is normal.

Hello ladies......my surgery is September 9th.  I'm excited, anxious, encouraged, blessed, confused, and uncertain.  So you see my emotions are all over the place.    Basically I'm at peace about the surgery.  My confusion and uncertainly stands in the fact that I never been a thin person.  I'm sure I will adapt and I'm ready for this ride.  I love to keep in contact with you ladies and let's encourage each other!
