September is my tentative date

RNY on 9/14 with Dr Maguire in Dayton at Miami Valley Hospital.   Five weeks from tomorrow - not that I'm counting!!

Want it to be tomorrow but don't want to wish away what's left of summer either.  Good luck all!

Hey all...

Just found out yesterday that my surgery date is September 20! I'm so happy, finally! I honestly can't feel anything else at the moment. I'm sure that'll change the closer I get to my date though. Ha. My sister just had her surgery a little over a month ago & I sorta know what to expect...

Soooo...how is everyone else feeling?

It's nice to "meet" all the September ppl going through this at the same time as me!  I'm scheduled for a DS on Sept. 20th in Abington, PA.  I'm so excited, it's just over 3 weeks away!

Hi Everyone!

I am scheduled for September 9th; I am a bit apprehensive as I don't know if my insurance has approved even though it seems all the tests, etc. have been approved but my Doctor was rather sure I would be.  So the idea of gastric bypass doesn't frighten me nearly as much as the idea that I have gone through all of this and they may have to postpone.  Because of this, I haven't really told anyone outside of my family.  I remain upbeat though and placed it in God's hands.  I gotta just keep rollin'
