After four year, four denials, four appeals, for rounds of tests, I am FINALLY approved!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Topic: 09/04/2009 can't come soon enough!
I have been part of the board for awhile but this is my first post...and I have to say the best starting post for me.
I can't wait...09/04/09...lap band here I come. I did a lot of researching the different WLS and this is the one for me... I hope!
I got the approval and then two days later I got a letter saying they could not do it. Because the 3rd party biller the insurance company uses will no longer be approved by there office.
So after an extreme high of YES this is going to happen to and extreme LOW of can anything go right for me and my family...I am back on and extreme HIGH because they talked it out with the insurance company and have approved the Dr to bill directly so I can have this done.
I am so happy, I really did not want to have to set up with a new doctor and re-go through all the orientations and meetings again.
So 09/04/09. I could have it sooner but figured with that being a holiday weekend it will allow me to have my hubby around an extra day to help take care of me and get me back up and running.
I can't wait to be a loser!
Looking forward to getting to know you all and losing with you!
