Topic: Surgery Date... Yay! 9/3/09
Hey everyone! This is my first post on here. I just thought I would share my surgery date with everyone.
I am having my RNY on September 3, 2009! It is actually really soon, I'm trying to get everything ready for then. :)

Let me know how things went for you.... I happened to be in your area this summer on vac with my husband. We also drove into Maine..... It was beautiful, but we will need to come back and see what it looks like when not pouring down rain! When do you have to start the liquid diet?

I didn't know there are message boards based on surgery date!
I am scheduled to have a laparoscopic RNY (distal- that means they bypass 150cm of my intestines instead of 100, which is the normal amount; it's because my BMI is over 50) on September 2. After an appeal that I busted my bum on, I am approved and all set to go! I've even lost 9 pounds more at this point than necessary, so it's all good!
I'd love to connect with others on here, so I'm excited to have found this board!
