Hi I'm glad you asked that since we have the same date I need the info also. I start my liquid phase on the 24. When do you start yours?

Hey... I'm fairly new around here, too. I've only posted a few times, but have always researched & read alot of posts before making my wls surgery decision. I'm scheuled for the lap band on Sept. 2nd. I start my liquid diet on Aug. 26th. Good luck to you!

Well, I start the liquid phase of the diet on Wed., August 26th. I have to be at the hospital at 6:60 a.m. on Sept. 2nd. I'm nrevous/excited...never crazy about "going under".... My friend had the surgery in May. She is doing great, lost almost 40 lbs. already (and she doesn't excercise though) and I can start to see her skin sag a bit. I on the other hand, know that the sooner you can begin excercising, the better. Even though I know I'll need a tummy tuck for sure
. Anyways, good luck ......

Well I dont know about others but my Hosp pro op was a piece of cake. All they did was have me sign a bunch of papers saying yes I want it and went over all the paperwork for the hosp to admit me and make sure that they had all the necessary tests done that they needed like bloodtests and ekg etc....no stress.

hey we are so close in size....are you scared at all that you will lose too much? I know that sounds so silly here....but we dont have a lot to lose and were both doing RNY...let me know your feelings on it.I keep going back and forth :)
