I am on day 2 of liquids(surgery scheduled for 9/11) and have been lucky so far....not really missing the food. Although I have been drinking enough water to fill an ocean and I am trying to get over the taste of the protein powder. Hope it gets easier for you!

It is great not to feel alone. Even when you have the support of family or friends it's not the same as someone who is walking the same path as you. Good luck and keep in touch about your progress.

September 1 is my date also. I'm having G. B. RouxY. LOL! I better look that up again.
I've done well on my pre surg diet and lost 30 pounds as of this morning.
I can't wait til Tuesday! Bring it!

My date is on the 16th and I'm excited as well.. However, like you, I want to know what people did to prepare. I've also tried different protein drinks, preparing the home, but havent bought any vitamins, etc..

Congrats to you. That's only a couple a weeks away you are on ya way to a wonderful journey. Time is going to go by so fast and you will be on the losers bench sharing ya success.Im happy for you.
