Well..the time is getting close. It's great to meet all of my September surgery buddies. I want to wish you all the best of luck. I too am a bit nervous but at the same time, I just want to get past this weekend and get to the hospital on Tuesday!!!

I'm having my surgery on the 22nd of September in Mexico. I'm so nervous but very ready to start this journey.
My pre-op diet says to start 7-14 days before surgery date. It is an all liquid diet. I'm not sure how they expect someone who can't control eating on her own to stick to this for two weeks. I'm always hungry, but I'm going to try my best. It's kinda like putting a pile of drugs in front of a drug addict and telling them not to touch them.

I understand completely! I'm scheduled for 9/15/09 at 11:00 am. Right now, we all have giant butterflies in our stomach. I can't wait to "get 'er done." (so says Larry the Cable Guy)

I know that nervous feeling - I'm experiencing it now.
I have my surgery on the 16th and my emotions run from being so happy to getting scared.
I have everything ready to go and just can't wait to join everyone on the loser's bench

My surgery date is the 16th as well.
I can't believe how quickly it's getting here.
