I actually dont have to be on liquid until 2 days prior... I met my goal of 10% down now... I got back to the surgeon on the 15th and will get any final instructions... but i havent been told of anything more than just 48 hours... I do plan on starting protein shakes this week for at least breakfast everyday... maybe a few lunches as well but then eat a normal dinner... anything I can do to help along my surgery!

Good luck tomorrow on your surgery..We have the same surgery date so keep me posted if you can ..have a quick recovery and see on the loser's side!!!

I'm 5 days out and only about 20-25 grams of protein/day at this point. Doing well on water, though. Focusing on liquids. Period.

OOK...another one for the 21st!! I am on the whatever diet..will finally meet with the surgeon on Wed. Is is normal to have a person stay overnight with you? My husband wants to stay as the hospital is an hour away, but he snore so loudlly I don't think anyone on the floor will get any sleep!! Oh will, hospitals keep you up anyway. 2 week from today and we will be hopefully be done.??

Yay to September 15th! It is a good day for the both of us!!! :) I sure hope we triumph!! Keep me posted on your surgery and I am also sending lots of support ur way...

Anyone else with upcoming surgeries wanting to eat like a linebacker? LOL I am SOOOOO nervous about the total package of surgery...physical....mental....emotional. And what do I USUALLY do when stressed/anxious...that's right---you guessed it!
