Anyone have Aflac

Hello all,
I was wondering if any of you had Aflac, if so what policy type do you have and did it pay for RNY surgery and the hospital stay. I was told because this is concidered an elective surgery, Aflac will not cover it. I have to take time off of work without pay for my surgery, and was hoping to use Aflac to help suplement my pay. Also I don't understand how Aflac could possibly concider this an elective surgery, when we have to have our doctors state it is medically necissary for our ins. companys. Besides that I feel that since I pay into this every single paycheck, it shouldn't matter what I have done it should still be covered. Anyways anyone with any experiance or know someone else who has been through Aflac any insight would be greatly appreciated.
