getting closer

I can't explain it but for some reason when I had 2 weeks to go it seemed like such a long time. Now it is only  one day later when I have 13 days I can't believe how fast it is coming. So here I am with only 13 days to go until the next chapter in my life.

I feel like I have so much to do to get ready. I think I will make a list of things I need to do in the next days and then I will not be so overwhelmed when the time comes. Maybe pack my overnight bag with comfy pajamas, lip balm, toothbrush and toothpaste, deodorant.

Think I will buy some SF jello and some bouillon to make broth, not too much because I realize my tastes may change after surgery. I Will also buy some things for the kitchen like a baby spoon, and a food scale. I feel better writing these things, does not feel so overwhelming now.

hello there we have the same mind set that is the same thing i have been doing. i have a way to go yet but i want to make sure that i have all my things in order.  your list looks like mine i still need a scale.  well good luck with your surgery and i hope a speedy recovery to you.

It does seem to help to write it out!  Good Luck with your surgery.  It must be so exciting!  I am waiting on a date :)
Maybe someone with some experience will give you some ideas of things to buy-bottled water?

I know!!!! it's crazy!!!! We got 12 days to go.......so much to do but I myself have no idea where to start! Good luck!
