We have surgery on the same day with the same doctor!!!!  Maybe we will get to meet each other!!  What hospital are you going to?

My surgery is also on the 16th - I have to be at the hospital at 5am (I'm so not a morning person)
Hoping I'll be too tired for any last minute jitters.

My surgery is scheduled for 9/16/09. I have to be at the hospital at 8am, so I guess my surgery will be around 10. I am so excited to be starting my new life and the new me.

My prayers are with everyone having surgery that day and the days to follow.

I too will be having my WLS on the 16th!! Excited but nervous.. Anyone having problems with their liquid diet?? Found protein drinks they liked?

Hello, I too will be having my WLS on 9/16/2009. I am very excited but starting to get the jitters! Not looking for the liquid diet starting Monday but it is well worth it. Good luck to everyone and will pray for everyone. Hope to hear from everyone a few days after surgery. God Bless!

63 hours until my surgery!!!!!!!!!!!!  My favorite protein shake is 2 scoops of vanilla protein powder and a cup of decaf french vanilla coffee.  Put in blender and add ice.  Blend on shake setting.  It is as good as a Starbucks Iced Lattee.  YUM!!!
