laproscopic wound opened

Called MD said to put gauze and tape on it..anyone else have this happen to them at all?

Yes, my doc told me to go ahead and take off the steri-strips now (1 week out) and I was able to successfully get them off of 1 of the incisions (4 total plus drain tube site) but all the others started to gape open so I quickly covered them back up with the steri-strip, however it's already pulled halfway off and I'm afraid it won't close back up tight and there will be a horrible scar.  I see the doc again tomorrow am so I'll see what they decide to do about it at that time. 

let me know what they tell you, I still have one open one that bugs me and my doc still says to just gauze it...he says its open to let stuff out and if they close it it could be worse and cause infection.....I too am worried about the scar but Im more concerned about infection so I will choose the scar :)
