Ok, all you 28th sleevers,

It is a week away and we will start our new life towards slimness.

How is everyone doing?

Packed and ready to go?

scared ***tless?

or slightly nervous?

saying goodbye to rich food one at a time?

doing a lot of sighing?

having doubts?

or getting excited,

having the "I can't wait" feelings,

stocked up on liquids and protein stuff

and applesauce and canned peaches,

juice popsicles,

wondering how the heck will we get thru without bread?

I am doing some of all the above.

How about you?

Now that we are all home (Sept 28 operation people) how is everyone doing?
Well I hope.
Found out I was the oldest patient ever sleeved, and set a record for the shortest time in the OR - 35 minutes! (at least for my doctor it was!)
I have had a phenomenal time since, a great recovery, I am even eating mushies I am doing so well..just finished my first poached egg, delicious, took over 15 minutes to eat it but hey! Worth it!
Today I visit my own doctor here in Canada and he is going to do follow up care with me and first order of business is stitches to come out.  A couple of my ports are reddish, hope that goes away in a hurry!  anyhoo, this has been a breeze for me, down 11 lbs aleady, and very happy about having this procedure done!
chime in people...let's hear from you.
