Hello, I am excited as my surgery date approaches. However, just dont know where to start- Vitamins, iron, etc? Or get the drinks (protein, jello, broth)? How much would you buy starting off?   I realize its a major change that is in the making, but not sure what to expect or where to start..  Suggestions?....

I just wanted to suggest buying a book about WLS. I love my book "Weight Loss Surgery for Dummies" It's a very easy reading book and you can look up topics and read about them with out having to read through the whole book. You can also go to amazon . com and read the reviews that others have given this book and other books on the subject. I enjoy having this book because If I think of a question I can just go look it up in the book and I don't have to go online and read through things to find my answer! Hope this helps :)

I am scheduled for RNY on 9/22.  I have read "WLS for Dummies".  It was full of useful info.  Matched what the doctor said.
