Conversion from Lap Band to RNY 9/8/9

I finally got approved today!!!  I was diagnosed with a slipped lap band in July, and have been dealing with United healthcare since then.  They actually denied me, even tho my doc stated it was medically necessary for the band to come out..  Thank God I have a an awesome doctor who would NOT take no for answer.  Now, I am on to an RNY, which is what i should have done from the beginning!!!
