I was waiting to hear how you are feeling! I am sorry you got dehydrated and had to go back to the hospital. I'm feeling pretty good. I was in until 9/27 and that helped a lot - they made sure I was drinking enough and walking enough before they discharged me. Yesterday I was more exhausted than I had been previously - but I also wasn't resting enough. My two year old is mad at me that I can't hold her and pick her up - she actually yelled at me yesterday LOL.

Hey girl I had RNY on 9/19/2008.
I know the feeling. I dont get nasea but I do get dizzy everytime I get up so. I dont know if thats normal or what. I losi like 20 lbs already and I dont know if that has something to do with it or what. I dont get constapated but I know its awfullll.

I am doing well. The first week I was of course sore at at my port site. But no nausea at all. I have been on liquids for 3 weeks. Have my post op appointment on thursday and will be adavanced ot pureed. foods.The walking helps and water really helps. I am excited and prayed hard because I am self pay because my insurance does not pay for wls. I had my surgery as outpatient and was there at 6am surgery at 730 and home by noon. Nice to meet you and good luck on your journey how far are you on your journey?

No I think I have got a infection now which tends to happen if I can not get my asthma undercontrol not sure though I go see doc tommorrow what I am looking for it help with or how people have delt with being on steroids an not gaining the weight back!

thanks for the support .. i;m home now and they want me to take it easy ... so that;s what i'm going to do ... thankfully i don't go back to wor****il the 1 so i still have a few days ...

I am 10 days out and I have good times and bad ones. Take the Gas-X that really helps, make sure you keep hydrated and get up and walk. It will get better, just give yourself a break, YOU JUST HAD SURGERY! Rest, drink, walk. It is boring, but it gets you well faster.

I had my surgery 9?24 and got home on 9/26 the went back 2/27 but all was well just dehydrated. Please some one any one does it get better I ope so. I am sore restlesss and tired and Gassy When did you start to feel more like your ol' self?
