Yesterday I had:
B: Eggbeasters (1/4 c.)
L: 1/2 oz. Chicken Spread, couple bites of veggies
S: Fuse drink
D: Lean Dessert Chocolate Coconut protein drink (1.5 scoops)
Protein: 45 g (well below target of 70 - 100 g)
Calories: 350
Fluids: 64 oz. !! First day in a long time I managed that
Exercise: 30 min. on treadmill, alternating walking/jogging
Last week was worse though. This week I seem to be able to drink protein shakes again so that should help. I'm already over 30 g. of protein and 200 calories and that's just with breakfast.

I don't count calories either, by the way. I'm trying to only think about protein and serving size.

As far as breaking the plateau, I am not sure I have. I will see if it sticks as a true wt loss. I really hope so! This morning I was up a little, so I am not sure. If it stays and continues I will be thrilled!
Here are some pictures from my trip!
I am so glad to see all the updates from you all! I know we are struggle a little in some way, and some more than others, but we will all be here to lend support on the journey no matter what!
Take care,
Gina

I don't know what will happen later, but I have to advocate, that although it may be dissapoiting to not find pleasure in food anymore, that's the point! Embrace it! We are food addicts that get a little high off of our eating. So cliche, but eat to live, don't live to eat.
I wish I had more problems eating. Other than at the VERY begginning, I don't have a problem with most foods I've tried. I can also eat a little more than I thought I would. As tormenting as it can be, I want this surgery to do its best.
That being said, I know its rough. We spend our lives celebrating with food and now, overnight, GONE! Very traumatic. You can do it though!
You'll be so happy from your new body that you won't care about food anymore.
So, I thought I would add to Gina's lovely post, asking you all for updates on your sucess from surgery. So my question is, what are you eating?
Everyone reports being in a different place, so I thought it would be fun if everyone posted what they ate, and how much at their last full day of meals? How much did you exercise?
Here's mine (Monday's menu):
B- Chocolate Protein Shake (30g)
L- 4 oz cottage cheese (11g)
D- 3 oz crab &egg (9g)
S- 1/2 protein bar (7g)
Protein- 57g
Calories- about 640
Exercise: 60 minutes Zumba
Fluids- 70 oz
This was a very good day for me!! There are worse!
