I feel your no-size-dropping pain! I, too, am barely down a size, but I do notice that my pants are actually comfortable! A couple of my friends are already commenting on the saggy pants, but there's nothing that I"m going to do about it just yet. Fortunately, my sister had RNY a year ago and saved all of her "going down" clothes. Unfortunately, she's shrimpy, so I'll have to wear them all as capris!
I'm very excited about Thanksgiving, mostly because I was able to have a bit of a dress rehearsal at a friend's dinner party on Saturday. I put a couple of pieces of turkey on my plate and then a little bit of the vegetables. Wasn't able to get through it all, but the very practice of it gave me the confidence that I need to not be self-conscious on Thursday. My family is very supportive, but that doesn't make me less comfortable with them watching me!!!
I am having a bit of an issue about that fact that I feel like I don't have control over my weight loss. In the past, if I wanted to lose 10 lbs, I could watch it for a couple of weeks, drink a lot of water and bam, done. Now, I stay on program, eat everything right, exercise and it's just slow going. I think it's just a control thing.
But in general, I'm so thankful (a good thing to be around Thanksgiving). I'm healthier than I was 10 weeks ago and I feel great. I hope that you all are also able to reflect on the great things that you've been able to do by making this choice!

I still struggle to get in my protien and water, but do a little better everyday. I joined Gold's gym a little over a week ago and have been trying to go everyday.......
I still have a long way to go (about 77 lbs).......and yes, I hate the vitamins too. I love being able to come to this site, and see folks who had the surgery around the same time I did, so I can see that what I am going through is normal.
One thing that really frustrates me is that although I have lost close to 50lbs, I haven't gone done 1 dress size....but everyone keeps telling me I am shrinking away!!! tell that to my pants!

I feel great, I work out at Curves 4-5 days a week, trying to avoid the charpae dog look! My biggest trouble is the vitamins! Hate them, they all are nasty! I wish all of us blessings and health in the future!

I am Kat and I live in PA. I am 8 weeks out and I've only lost about 36 lbs. I'm sad about that and I know part of it is my fault, but overall, I've been working hard, exercising 5 days a week, no less an hour each time. That being said, I stalled for almost a full month before losing an ounce again. I've gone from a size 20 to a 14, so that's what I focus on. I feel re-energized and I'm ready to rejoin the WL wagon.
