So, now that we're around 6 months out (give or take), do you still consider yourself a newbie or do you consider yourself an old-timer?
I will go first...
Compared to a pre-op, yes, I feel wise and experienced. As a member of OH for over a year, I feel like I am and old-timer as far as this board is concerned. But as a post-op, I don't feel like I'll be an old-timer until I'm at least a year out. I'm not yet at goal, I'm still losing weight, and I haven't learned how to maintain yet.
What do you guys think?

According to my BMI I am finally just "overweight"!!!! wooo hooo. My high weight was 267, my surgery weight was 253 and today I am at 172 with only 27 pounds till goal!!! And till I have a "normal" BMI. I've never been normal in my life!!! I am so excited!!
Not even 6 months ago I was wearing a size 24. Today I'm wearing 10/12.
I've gone through several small stalls over the last two months. i won't loose anything for a couple of weeks then I'll drop 2-3 pounds. I think this pattern is where my body is comfortable so I try not to get too upset the weeks the scale doesn't move.
Congrats to all my September Buddies!!!
Pre-op highest - 323 (unfortunately I was not weighed the day of surgery . . . )
6 month post-op weight - 213
Total loss at 6 months = 110 lbs
I am able to fit some XL tops - WOW!
Pants are a different story - I am having a bit of trouble finding pants that don't split the apron.
