Hi Gina, Yep, anxiety is starting to become a main character here. I guess it will get worst as the date gets closer. I think is great that we have a forum for people going through the process around the same time. This way we can share our experiences and relate to them. CP

Congrats! My doctor did not tell me I had to loose a certain amount of weight before I have surgery. But he puts his patients on a very restrictive diet pre surgery for two weeks. Good luck. September 17th was my Mom's birthday. Judy

welcome Gina to the September's losing team .. and congratulation on your date... I think we all are feeling anxious ... or still going through mix emotions as our dates get closer.. But i have found some very nice people on here that i plan on lean on that will be going through the surgery so i have someone who will know what I might be feeling and help me talk about it and make me feel like i'm not alone ... so once again welcome and keep us updated .. ok talk to you later ... Hi, I have been on this site for a few days now and this is my first time on this forum. It was recommended by another member to hang around this board because we will all be a going through similar stuff and we can support each other. I am going to post and intro on my profile becasue I have told my "story" a few times now and I my fingers are getting hot from all of the typing! lol! I have also been hanging around a bit on the light wt forum, so just in advance please no questions about why I am having WLS at my current BMI (I got that on other forums)! I would love to support others and be supported but I do not want to have to "defend" my long list of reasons for having WLS. K? Thanks in advance! ;_) I have had a very anxious day today full of excitement and fears of all types. Is anyone else feeling on edge lately. For one thing I can't sleep at night I am up on this dang puter reading, researching, learning until my hubby finally gets up for work at 3 am and says "GO TO BED"! Then I have to go take a sleeping pill and knock myself out! So, I can get a few good ZZZ's before the kidos wake up. I am manic I guess but I do this all of the time when I am making a big change or planning anything really big in my life. So, am I the only looney toon???? I can't wait to start my journey and I will be happy to get to know all of you better and watch your successes. I do not know how to down load a picture near my name. Does anyone else know how I can do that??? Talk to you soon! Gina
