Congratulations!! it took 18 months from the start of this process before surgery. How horrible to be fighting with insurance for 3 years.

Topic: The Last Meal
I have done horrible on my liquid diet. The dr sprung it on me the day I quit smoking and so it was one or the other. Tomorrow I will eat my last real meal for some time and start the shakes. I have ordered Unjury but its not here yet. Does anyone know of any other protein drinks that are not disgusting? I have tried Isopure, Mix 1, Kroger Whey Protein and that stuff from GNC in the black and red jar. All were veryr hard to swallow.

Thank you all for your support. I had pre-op today as well and I fell much better. Memorial Cit y Hospital seems nice and everyone was so organized. I have to be there at 6a on Tuesday and my surgery is scheduled for 7:30. I just wish people would quit telling me horror stories!

lisa , youll do just fine . my daughter weighed over 400lbs and had it done ,will be 2 yrs nov 24,and has lost 260 lbs shes down to 150 looks great.feels great.

How did the pre-op visit go? All set and ready to go now? Are you excited?
I sure am! I find it pretty surreal and unbelievable that this is actually happening. I dream a bit about how much weight will be gone in 1 month, 2 months ect. I'm afraid to dream too much though in case it doesn't work as well on me as others.

you too. i went for pre op testing really anxious .i have to be at hosp at 630am.
