I did a lot of reading and research about after diet... night before going to hospital I made a big batch of soup so I would have plenty of "good Broth" I dont know if you have checked youtube out but there is a whole community of people that have had WLS and share stories by videos ... I am on there with links to others if you wanna check it out.

Well let's see I have started my journey and boy it is moving fast. I am so excited and thrilled.I had my consult with my surgeon last wednesday and after all was said and done I have a few things to complete normal stuff. Physc consult, nutrition consult, upper endo, 2 support groups,ekg and I will be done ready for date.We are looking at end of oct.I really didnt think it would happen so fast I cannot tell you how much I am looking forward to this.so if anyone has any input or advice for me I am willing to listen .Thanks to all who have given support already

Only 13 days away!!! My journey has gone by really quick, which I started the end of May.  August was a very very long month though, ughh.  Thankfully it is over.  I am very excited to be having surgery.  I have some anxiety kicking in though.  I am not sleeping very well now and will probably have to take my ambien and valium to start relaxing and keep myself from getting sick or going insane.  I have met a few ladies on here from my area who are also having surgery right around the same times I am.  One of them we will be having surgery the same day, same doc. Is it Sept. 15th yet?
