6 month check in!!!

Well hello Septembers! I had surgery September 18th, 2008.  I am down to 165 lbs.  I haven't weighed anything like this since highschool! It is really unreal, as I still see myself as very overweight and need my friends and husband to point out people who are my same size.... as I do not recognized this myself.  All I know is I am a size 12, which I have not been since as long as I can remember! I am so excited about what I can now do, and am so excited about going to the pool with my 3 year old daughter this summer! I will post pics soon!

Good for you!  You are doing awesome!!! Now go buy that swimsuit.

YOU LOOK AMAZING!!  I CAN'T WAIT TO BE IN ONEDERLAND WITH YOU ALL!!!  I AM DOWN FROM 307 TO 215 AND FROM A SIZE 2X/3X-SIZE 22/24 TO A 14/16-SIZE14/16.  I HAVE BEEN STUCK IN MY SECOND STALL FOR THE PAST 5 1/2 WEEKS BUT I AM HANGING IN THERE!!  GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF YOU BEAUTIFUL SEPTEMBER BEAUTIES!!!

According to my BMI I am finally just "overweight"!!!! wooo hooo.  My high weight was 267, my surgery weight was 253 and today I am at 172 with only 27 pounds till goal!!!  And till I have a "normal" BMI.  I've never been normal in my life!!!  I am so excited!!

Not even 6 months ago I was wearing a size 24.  Today I'm wearing 10/12.  
I've gone through several small stalls over the last two months.  i won't loose anything for a couple of weeks then I'll drop 2-3 pounds.  I think this pattern is where my body is comfortable so I try not to get too upset the weeks the scale doesn't move.

Being a size 10 was my all time goal.  I know I wanted to be down on the scale but to fit in the 10's was just awesome.  Keep up the great work.

Hello, I had my RNY on Sept, 15. 2008 started at 304.day of surgery down to 224 today, so 80 lbs in almost 6 months. My highest weight was 347 when i started going to the Dr. so i have really lost 123 lbs.  size 16 pants now. Losing real slow but hope it will all come off this year.... Robbie

Hi There!  I've been looking for September people like me!  Thanks for starting this chain!  I had my RNY 9/17/08.  The day of surgery I was 325 and today I'm 219, so I'm down 106 lbs in 6 months.  I lost 80 lbs the first 3 months, but it's taken me 3 months to lose 25 lbs!  I have to admit I'm not excerising and much as I should be so I think that would really help get the next 20 off.  I just can't wait to be under 200 lbs!  Hopefully before summer!  You look AMAZING!!!  You are beautiful!  I feel SOOO much better don't you?  I don't sweat all the time anymore and I can sleep again without choking during the night.  Yea!  Bought my first size 14 last week!  Pretty great from a size 26 6 months ago.

I haven't done full body yet, but hear are some before and after head shots.  Yesterday was my 6 months and I am 96 pounds down...26 to go :-)
