Hi gang, I wanted to check on this board to see what people that had surgery around the same time were doing caloriewise.

My nutritionist told me less than 1000 calories.  I am averaging between 650-850 with between 60-80 grams of protein daily.

What are the rest of you averaging??

14 pounds lost before surgery. My first ticker is when I hit onderland: this was my goal when I started on this journey.  I want to focus on that right now...once I get there I can reevaluate.

My second ticker is my dream goal. Even if I only visit there for a short time, it would be nice to see that number just once.  I am pretty sure I'll need plastics to hit this goal.

Once I get on regular food, to keep it under 800. Right now in my phasing from softs to regular food, I'm supposed to be in the 600-800 range.

i'm 2 months out and eat around 800 calories and 60 grams of protein.   I've been in a big stall, but can't seem to get in any more protein/calories than that.

104 lbs lost now Maintenance BABY!!!!

I am between 600 to 800.  I have been taking most of my protein by foods that I eat.  Most time between 50 to 70.  I live off of beef jerky (soft kind) and shrimp ****tail.  I don't know what I would do without these two foods.

Good luck to you.  I am so happy you are feeling better.

Oh, I forgot to say that I was doing 70-100 g of protein a day. But now I'm supposed to do 100 g because I gave blood and it made me temporarily anemic.

I can't get in 100 g every day but my average is close to that.

It's really kick started my weight loss too.

I am averaging the same around 800 per day and 60-80g ++protein per day.  I think we are all doing great by staying in that range unless your Dr. or nut changes something for you.

Congratulations!
