Hi,
I had the Realize band surgery on September 29th and have been on liquids ever since, per my doctor's instructions.  I'm finally starting to feel hungry.  Tonight I made my dh a potroast and I ate a soft roasted carrot. I mushed it real good in my mouth and it went down fine.  I feel so quilty but I'm wondering why I'm hungry.  Is anybody else having these problems?

I think it is totally normal to feel hungry.  Your swelling is going down and you are feeling better, you are going to start feeling hungry.  Plus, your band is not filled right?  So, you probably will feel hungry until that gets filled.

I had RNY on 9/18 and I feel hungry.  I can't eat very much, but I do definately feel hungry at times.  Other times I just could not eat at all.  I guess it is just a matter of listening to your body and figuring out the tool we have been given...

Good Luck!

Just keep doing what you are doing you are doing great.  I don't think that you can get a fill until 6 weeks right.  If I am not mistaken I think your band is empty.
