Surgery scheduled for Sept 29, 2008. Nervous, but excited

Hi,
I had my appointment with my surgeon yesterday for my pre-op.  I'm to be at the hosptial at 8:00 a.m. Sept.29th!!!!!  Now that I've got a time and everything it's so exciting.  I have to do a 2 day liquid diet prior to the surgery.    At the weigh in yesterday, I had lost 10 lbs since I started this 6 months ago.  Only 89 to go.....yikes   The count down is on.

Yep, me too!  8:00am!!  I'm supposed to do a 1 week liquid diet prior to surgery.  You got the better end of that deal!!  Very cool about the weight loss.  I have about that much to lose too.

One week and 2 days to go.  I can  hardly stand it.  You start your liquid phrase soon.  Good Luck.

Hi there!  Yes, liquids start today. I'm okay with that because I'm too nervous to eat anyway.  Surgery is one week from today.  How are you holding up?

I'm doing well.  I don't feel as nervous as last week.  I just spoke to my last medical nurse regarding my surgery and what to do the weekend before surgery, what to bring to the hospital, etc.  I'll have to get my overnight bag packed.  Make sure I have pretty jammies
